What is a shielded cable?
This guitar cable is also called a shielded cable. This is a cable that has one or more insulated cables surrounded by a common layer that can conduct electrical signals. Balanced and unbalanced cables
Have you ever asked yourself what is the difference between a balanced cable and an unbalanced cable? Well, this is the difference. Balanced electrical signals are transmitted through balanced cables. The cable has three wires, namely positive, negative and ground wires. The positive wire and the negative wire carry the same signal. The only difference is that they have opposite polarities. The difference between shielded cable and unshielded cable
Each pair of wires in the shielded guitar cable is wrapped in foil. These wires are also wound again to provide more external protection. On the other hand, each pair of wires in an unshielded cable is twisted together. Wrap the wires again, but do not wrap the wires with any protective material.
