Low Voltage Aerial Bundled Cable (ABC) is a cheaper, safer, more reliable cable which requires less tree clearing and pruning and so be more aesthetic, be less labour intensive, require less maintenance and eliminate bushfires be initiated by conductor clashing.
Applications
To supply power from the utility's lines to the consumer's weatherhead. For service at 600 volts or less (phase to phase) at a conductor temperature of 75° C maximum for polyethylene Insulation or 90° C maximum for crosslinked insulation.
